TIME TO BUILD

How long does it take to build Avengers Tower?

Individual build

A starting point for planning your build. Times for each experience level are editorial estimates, not measurements submitted by HowLongToBuild users.

Editorial estimate informed by external reports

Beginner

≈ 34 hSuggested range23 h 45 min – 47 h 30 min

Intermediate

≈ 23 hSuggested range16 h – 32 h 15 min

Experienced

≈ 16 hSuggested range11 h 15 min – 22 h 30 min

Based on one person building the set for the first time, following the original instructions and using numbered bags where supplied. Includes normal piece-finding and minor adjustments; excludes long breaks, filming, dismantling and modifications. Sources may use different methods. This range is neither a statistical interval nor a limit: your build may take less or more time.

How we estimate times · sources and method

Repeated glazing, many rooms and a large cast call for patience. The source presents 16 hours as a fast build, not a limit. Experience bands are cautious editorial estimates, not measured user averages.

Sources do not always specify the builder’s experience. The three experience bands are our editorial assessment, based on the complexity of the set and individual accounts where available.

Checked: 22 October 2026 · Method v1.0 · Limited reports; not a statistical average.

MAKE ROOM FOR YOUR NEXT BUILD

How much display space does it need?

Tower only

Height
≈ 90 cm
Width
≈ 34 cm
Depth / length
≈ 25 cm

Separate vehicles and accessories require additional display space.

Check your shelf space

Approximate assembled-model measurements, not packaging dimensions. Allow extra room for handling, moving parts and the display stand. The comparison uses the measured model’s overall footprint, allows a 90° rotation and does not assess stability or shelf load. Source LEGO ↗ · 2026-10-29

BEYOND THE BRICKS

Did you know?

The model, the history, the ideas

Inside the set

01

A visitor from the real world

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige appears among the tower’s characters: a behind-the-scenes cameo alongside the film heroes.

02

A tower more than ninety centimetres tall

The model stands over 90 cm tall. Its rooms recreate different moments from the Infinity Saga rather than a single battle.

03

The team first came together against Loki

The Avengers made their comic-book debut in 1963. Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man and Wasp joined forces against Loki, a different line-up from the one many people remember from the films.

Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s 1963 team included Ant-Man and Wasp among its founders. This comics origin differs from later screen versions. Changing membership and relationships between contrasting personalities became part of the Avengers’ identity, rather than the team being one fixed lineup.

04

Captain America arrived in issue four

Steve Rogers wasn’t part of the first issue’s team. His return from the ice came in Avengers #4, bringing back the character who would become one of its defining figures.

The Library of Congress traces Captain America from his 1941 debut to his Avengers reintroduction in 1964. He became team leader in issue 16. His return connected a wartime comics character with a new generation of Marvel heroes.

SET THE MOOD

A soundtrack for your build

· Selected for the subject and atmosphere

The cinematic character accompanies powers, transformations and adventure. It is an editorial mood pairing, not a claim that one film’s score officially belongs to another character.

A build to spread over several sessions: choose the more understated option when you want the instructions to take centre stage. The music does not set your pace.
