How we estimate times · sources and method

Editorial assessment: The Ferrari FXX K stands beside a development centre with equipment and a large test structure in a modular Speed Champions scene. Panels and little accessories complete the development centre. A first build following the instructions, including normal piece finding; an adult may help when needed. Breaks, subsequent play and any alternative models are excluded. For older sets, unnumbered bags or previously mixed pieces may prolong sorting. No verified timed build: indicative values with substantial variation.

Sources do not always specify the builder’s experience. The three experience bands are our editorial assessment, based on the complexity of the set and individual accounts where available.

Checked: 26 October 2026 · Method v1.0 · Limited reports; not a statistical average.

03

Two power sources behind the total

The FXX K’s stated combined output includes both its V12 and its electric motor.

Ferrari’s technical sheet separates the V12’s 860 CV from the electric motor’s 190 CV, giving 1,050 CV combined. The headline total comes from two contributions. Reading it as combustion-engine output alone would conceal the hybrid architecture described by the manufacturer’s own specifications.

A circuit car without a championship

The FXX K belongs to the non-competitive XX programme, linking client track driving with development.

Ferrari describes XX as a non-competitive owner-test-driver programme on circuits across Europe, Asia and North America. LaFerrari-based FXX K deliveries began in the second quarter of 2015. Track driving can therefore support technological development and client testing without requiring participation in a racing championship.
