A clone raised as a son
Boba is an unaltered clone of Jango Fett, who wanted to raise him as his own son.

Jango requested an unaltered genetic copy to raise as a son, distinct from the army’s clones. Boba learns within a family relationship. Shared genetic origins do not give him an identical life: upbringing and experience produce a different path.
The Sarlacc was not the end
Boba survived the creature on Tatooine and returned to reclaim his armour, eventually occupying Jabba’s former palace.

His return includes recovering the armour traced to the Mandalorian. The Databank then follows Boba and Fennec back to Tatooine and Jabba’s former throne. The familiar bounty-hunter silhouette belongs to a story extending beyond the pit and into a new role.
