This range is neither a statistical interval nor a limit: your build may take less or more time.

How we estimate times · sources and method

A long hull, panels and interior details need space. The individual eight-hour report stays separate from our experience-level ranges. The three experience bands are cautious editorial assessments, not measured averages.

Sources do not always specify the builder’s experience. The three experience bands are our editorial assessment, based on the complexity of the set and individual accounts where available.

Checked: 22 October 2026 · Method v1.0 · Limited reports; not a statistical average.

Costruisci ed esponi: questo veicolo costruibile Star Wars™ in mattoncini misura 25 cm di altezza, 77 cm di lunghezza e 25 cm di larghezza

Approximate assembled-model measurements, not packaging dimensions. Allow extra room for handling, moving parts and the display stand. The comparison uses the measured model’s overall footprint, allows a 90° rotation and does not assess stability or shelf load. Source LEGO ↗ · 2026-10-29

The barge has a name

Jabba’s ship is called the Khetanna. The Databank describes a thirty-metre luxury Ubrikkian vessel equipped for music and entertainment too.

Jabba’s thirty-metre luxury Ubrikkian barge is named Khetanna. Entertainment and live music coexist with heavy weapons, presenting wealth and power. Its sails belong to more than a transport vessel: this is a mobile setting through which Jabba displays his position and authority.

04

Room for quite an audience

Within the story, the Khetanna could carry up to five hundred passengers with a crew of twenty-six. The film shows only some of them during the journey to the Sarlacc.

The fictional Khetanna accommodates up to five hundred passengers and twenty-six crew. Those figures imply activity beyond the group shown on the Sarlacc journey. Film framing selects the faces and spaces needed for the scene, while the vessel’s description suggests a larger operation behind it.

SET THE MOOD

A soundtrack for your build

· Selected for the subject and atmosphere

Apollo’s ambient sound suggests distance and exploration. It keeps the build in the foreground, with less urgency than a cinematic march.

OUR PICK

Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks (Extended Edition)

Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois & Roger Eno

Intimate and spacious

A build to spread over several sessions: choose the more understated option when you want the instructions to take centre stage. The music does not set your pace.
