How we estimate times · sources and method

Editorial assessment: A pink mobile candyfloss stand comes with a blue scooter and small street-vendor details. The stand and scooter are assembled as distinct elements. A first build following the instructions, including normal piece finding; an adult may help when needed. Breaks and subsequent play are excluded. For older sets, unnumbered bags or previously mixed pieces may prolong sorting. No verified timed build: indicative values with substantial variation.

Sources do not always specify the builder’s experience. The three experience bands are our editorial assessment, based on the complexity of the set and individual accounts where available.

Checked: 26 October 2026 · Method v1.0 · Limited reports; not a statistical average.

03

From crystals to threads

Sugar becomes strands.

Solid sucrose is heated into liquid and spun into fine streams. Heat overcomes intermolecular forces; the fluffy result comes from physically transforming sugar, rather than adding another substance to create its familiar volume.

04

A different solid

Amorphous sugar.

Rapid cooling prevents sugar’s original ordered crystal arrangement from returning. The strands become amorphous, noncrystalline solid, illustrating how phase changes and processing conditions can give a familiar ingredient a quite different physical structure.
