≈ 4 h 30 minSuggested range2 h 45 min – 6 h 45 minExperienced
≈ 2 h 45 minSuggested range1 h 45 min – 4 hBased on one person building the set for the first time, following the original instructions and using numbered bags where supplied. Includes normal piece-finding and minor adjustments; excludes long breaks, filming, dismantling and modifications. Sources may use different methods. This range is neither a statistical interval nor a limit: your build may take less or more time.
How we estimate times · sources and method
Approachable mechanisms with numerous connections. Align the differential and pistons before adding the panels. The three central durations are model-specific editorial assessments. Planning ranges extend approximately from 65% to 145%, rounded to quarter-hours; they are not measured experience-level averages or guaranteed limits.
Sources do not always specify the builder’s experience. The three experience bands are our editorial assessment, based on the complexity of the set and individual accounts where available.

Two power sources behind the total
The FXX K’s stated combined output includes both its V12 and its electric motor.
Ferrari’s technical sheet separates the V12’s 860 CV from the electric motor’s 190 CV, giving 1,050 CV combined. The headline total comes from two contributions. Reading it as combustion-engine output alone would conceal the hybrid architecture described by the manufacturer’s own specifications.
A circuit car without a championship
The FXX K belongs to the non-competitive XX programme, linking client track driving with development.
Ferrari describes XX as a non-competitive owner-test-driver programme on circuits across Europe, Asia and North America. LaFerrari-based FXX K deliveries began in the second quarter of 2015. Track driving can therefore support technological development and client testing without requiring participation in a racing championship.
