This range is neither a statistical interval nor a limit: your build may take less or more time.

How we estimate times · sources and method

Integrate motors, route cables and test functions before closure. The three central durations are model-specific editorial assessments. Planning ranges extend approximately from 65% to 145%, rounded to quarter-hours; they are not measured experience-level averages or guaranteed limits.

Sources do not always specify the builder’s experience. The three experience bands are our editorial assessment, based on the complexity of the set and individual accounts where available.

This source documents the model’s features and components, not a timed build. No sufficiently verifiable individual building-time report has been identified for this set.

  • LEGO building instructions · Audi RS Q e-tron ↗

Set-specific instructions checked against the set number, piece count and year. The duration is an editorial assessment based on piece count, construction type, mechanisms and detail.

Which model was measured? · original Italian specification
Dimensioni: questo set da costruzione LEGO® Technic misura 15 cm di altezza, 37 cm di lunghezza e 19 cm di larghezza

Approximate assembled-model measurements, not packaging dimensions. Allow extra room for handling, moving parts and the display stand. The comparison uses the measured model’s overall footprint, allows a 90° rotation and does not assess stability or shelf load. Source LEGO ↗ · 2026-10-29

03

Wheels driven by electricity

Electric motors drive the real RS Q e-tron’s axles. No mechanical connection joins the front and rear axles.

RS Q e-tron uses a motor-generator unit at each axle with no mechanical connection between front and rear drives. Audi software distributes torque electronically. Four-wheel propulsion consequently comes through coordinated separate units rather than a shaft linking both axles.

04

Energy in the desert

A combustion engine powers an energy converter to recharge the battery on the move, where charging stations are unavailable.

Without desert charging infrastructure, a TFSI engine powers an energy converter that recharges the battery while driving; braking also recovers energy. Combustion supplies electricity rather than directly driving the axles, adapting electric wheel propulsion to the Dakar’s operational demands.

SET THE MOOD

A soundtrack for your build

· Selected for the subject and atmosphere
