Based on one person building the set for the first time, following the original instructions and using numbered bags where supplied. Includes normal piece-finding and minor adjustments; excludes long breaks, filming, dismantling and modifications. Sources may use different methods. This range is neither a statistical interval nor a limit: your build may take less or more time.

How we estimate times · sources and method

Editorial assessment: An End dragon above a small landscape with a tower. Wings and body require finer connections than simple square platforms. The black column rises from the pale base with small details at the top. A first build following the instructions, including normal piece finding; an adult may help when needed. Breaks, subsequent play and any alternative models are excluded. For older sets, unnumbered bags or previously mixed pieces may prolong sorting. No verified timed build: indicative values with substantial variation.

Sources do not always specify the builder’s experience. The three experience bands are our editorial assessment, based on the complexity of the set and individual accounts where available.

Checked: 26 October 2026 · Method v1.0 · Limited reports; not a statistical average.

An Enderman in D&D too

The official 2023 Minecraft compendium for Dungeons & Dragons describes the Enderman’s teleportation and sensitivity to water. The character also has a life in tabletop roleplaying.

Minecraft’s Monstrous Compendium adapts the Enderman for Dungeons & Dragons. Teleportation receives tabletop conditions and distances for evading attacks. Rather than duplicating videogame code, the adaptation translates a recognisable behaviour into turns, rolls and another game system.

A pearl that changes your position

In the same adaptation, a pearl dropped by an Enderman can be thrown to teleport its user. A small object captures one of the character’s defining abilities.

Throwing an Ender pearl teleports its user to the landing point. Endermen and trades are among its sources. Combined with blaze powder, it becomes an Eye of Ender, linking a small object with both immediate travel and the search for another dimension.

SET THE MOOD

A soundtrack for your build

· Selected for the subject and atmosphere

C418’s textures leave room for a world growing one block at a time. This follows digital landscapes and free building with less urgency than an action score.
