How we estimate times · sources and method

Angled panels and bodywork details require precise orientation. The source suggests three to four hours for experienced builders and warns that beginners may find it challenging. Experience bands are cautious editorial estimates, not measured user averages.

Sources do not always specify the builder’s experience. The three experience bands are our editorial assessment, based on the complexity of the set and individual accounts where available.

SET THE MOOD

A soundtrack for your build

Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole · Selected for the subject and atmosphere

For intricate structures and extended sessions we choose a quieter ambient texture. It leaves space for the instructions, while the electronic alternative adds energy when you want it.

Try a different atmosphere

A build to spread over several sessions: choose the more understated option when you want the instructions to take centre stage. The music does not set your pace.
